I've only seen Last Life and Invisible Waves. The former is a good, solid film, the second is a bit weak. The problem I have w/ him is that I think I've seen the directors who have most influenced him... and they're better than him, sorry! Check out Tsai Ming-Liang's I Don't Want to Sleep Alone or Vive L'Amour and you will see what I mean.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, will check out I Don't Want to Sleep Alone. I've only seen one by him called What Time is it There? Or something along those lines and wasn't very taken by it...
